The Lord has placed a burden on my heart for Tennessee. I plan to strike the ground with every arrow in my quiver to reclaim our Tennessee values and chart a course toward Liberty & Less Government in Tennessee.

I have travelled to every county in Tennessee. I hear my fellow Tennesseans complain about a detached establishment in Nashville that doesn't hear them. As Governor I will chart an azimuth toward Liberty and accountability to the people of Tennessee.

Republicans all across Tennessee are frustrated with the growth of our state budget in the past 6 years and want Nashville to be accountable to them rather than intervene in their every decision. From Memphis to Jonesborough I hear Tennesseans ask for Less Government in Tennessee.

Rural Tennesseans often express that they feel abandoned by the elitists in Nashville. As Governor I will recalibrate the state public servants in Nashville to realize they operate within the bounds of the Constitution and under the accountability of all Tennesseans.

Everybody in Tennessee has a voice. Photo ops at events is not enough. As Governor I will engage on a regular basis with the people in the counties and towns across Tennessee. We will not do this to simply get a press release but rather to hear comments and criticisms directly from the people to whom I report. The citizens are to instruct their representatives. That is not just state reps but all of us who have been selected from within our costs/ borders to serve as watchmen on the wall.
