Monty Fritts is a State Representative for Tennessee House District 32 and a candidate for Governor. The shape of his resume is unusual for a politician on purpose — it begins on a workshop floor and ends in a legislative chamber, with stops at MIT, the University of Tennessee, Liberty University, and the United States Army in between.
What ties it together is a single conviction carried since boyhood in Rockwood: that liberty fuels prosperity, that the family is the engine of a strong Tennessee, and that public office is service — not a career. Every credential below was earned in pursuit of being more useful to the people he was raised among.
A lifetime of preparation for service — grounded in scripture, sharpened in industry, and answerable to East Tennessee.
