Almighty God
I think that the Lord Jesus has tremendously blessed the state of Tennessee. Pastures full of cattle and fields full of fruit with forests full of timber. Our rivers flow to provide us water and liberty of the Lord has been granted. I think that Tennessee is the sweetest soil on the face of the earth.
Unfortunately we have allowed an out of focus political establishment empowered by the complacency of His people to build up high places that disappoint our Lord. We have found ourselves in a position such that we cannot legislate nor spend our way out of many of the problems we face in Tennessee. We need a move of Almighty God. Our House Joint Resolutions (HJR 803 in 2024 and HJR 051 in 2025) to pray and fast seeking Jesus' hand of healing on Tennessee were birthed from an anguish in seeing a secular humanism practiced in government. A mention of Jesus occasionally has supplanted a complete reliance upon Him. An acceptance of corruption and dishonesty has replaced the Creationist worldview of our Founders which held to an obedience to God's word and embrace that our rights are given by Him. We must course correct or risk further loss of His hand of blessing and protection. We must vigorously embrace the Liberty that Almighty God has given us.
We native Tennesseans and those Tennesseans who have moved here looking for Liberty expect government to work for all Tennesseans. In the name of Jesus we will call for repentance and healing in Tennessee.

I think that the position a politician or public servant takes on the 2A is indicative of his or her view on all your Creator endowed rights.
Our Founders wrote in the Preamble of the United States Constitution "securing the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and posterity" as a means of communicating to all that concept first captured in the Declaration of Independence "That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men" is an absolute. They thought it an absolute as the first role of government, its first responsibility is to secure our rights. That allows us to exercise our Liberty before God deciding our course right or wrong and bearing the consequences good or bad of such decision. Many politicians, most politicians have forgotten this absolute.
Many will argue today that the Bill of Rights, the first ten amendments to the US Constitution are not absolute in their intent. Those people who argue such are wrong, either unread or nefarious. The Bill of Rights is very much a special set of clauses added to the US Constitution. The Constitution very much serves a a contract between we the people and those who hold office in government under that contract. The Founders intended an absolute
In summary, I think that those who espouse a position of authority that they are not constitutionally granted regarding your right to keep and bear are likely to infringe upon your right to freely speak, petition your government, worship Almighty God, own property, or remain secure in your possessions. Those who cannot comprehend or refuse to accept SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED regarding your firearms rights will infringe upon any and all of your other Creator endowed rights. Our Founders believed, they stated, that your rights are Creator endowed - granted by God.
We must reacquire the Creationist worldview held by our Founders, else our Republic will continue to trend toward great peril. As Governor I will lead us toward that Creationist worldview of our Founders, vigorously embracing our Liberty and relentlessly defending our Constitution… because it is God who blessed us with this land we call Tennessee.
Guts
First, I cannot do this alone. But, we, together with Almighty God's blessing, can take back the governorship from a Nashville establishment that doesn't even think folks like you and I should apply for these jobs like Governor. That is going to require us to demonstrate some courage. We, the people of Tennessee, are going to have to let our voices be heard.
I have been taking on issues in Nashville that favor Liberty & Less Government. I have offered legislation to defend every Tennessean from a central government that would declare them "non-essential" or continue to strip them of their Creator-endowed right to keep and bear arms. I have opposed a budget request from the current Governor, which grew from $37.5 billion in 2019 to $59.5 billion in 2025, a 59% growth, and from ~$33 billion in 2026, meaning 80% growth over nine years. That is unsustainable and out of control. Less government does not allow that growth in the collection of revenue from average Tennesseans, all Tennesseans. Every dollar taken from Tennesseans in taxes and fees then spent on functions outside the role of government, is Liberty lost for all Tennesseans. As Governor, I will get the budget growth under control.
Then there is budget focus. We have allowed the Nashville celebrity politician machines to think they can take money from average Tennesseans and send it to corporate welfare and special interests. To The Nashville establishment and political machines must yield to the boundaries of the Constitution and the will of we the people.
